The people of Appalachia have a culture shaped in part by the rugged mountainous terrain, a strong will, and a love of freedom.  ASFC embraces these values and nurtures the traits that make us unique.  We also help remove obstacles faced by people living in a region that has always suffered severe poverty and the associated problems.
